One of the most important avenues in
Mexico City is
Paseo de la Reforma. In
Reforma as we use to call it, there are big and important hotels, shopping centers, government offices, museums, etc.
But the reason I like it a lot is because
Reforma have a good sidewalk, fountains and trees all along.
Reforma is a good place to take a long walk, see people and stop somewhere for drinking a coffee. On Sundays morning, the street is closed for cars and turns into a place for walking, skating, ride bicycles and taking the dogs for a walk.
In
Mexico, there is a tradition: when a girl have her 15th birthday, her parents and family give a special party for her. Not all girls have this party, some of them prefer a trip as gift (to Europe or Disneyland), but those ones who have a party have... THE PARTY!

An important part of the ritual is when the called
quinceanera dances a special
vals in front of all her family and friends, usually dressed with a fairy-tale dress.

And, of course, there are the photographs of the girl with her dress. Those photographs are not taken only during the party but also in
Reforma , a perfect place for that purpose.

With so many things happening in
Reforma, it always seems like a mexican party.
