My Background is Australian, English and Chinese which surprises everyone :)

Benetton, I believe it’s my time. No matter where in the world, I am the guy next door :-) I am a fresh face with a strong photographic versatile look. I have a unique style of my own with attitude to match it. I am a fast learner with natural talent. I'm highly motivated and dedicated to whatever I put my mind to.
This is a strong passion and desire for me and if only given the chance I will give it everything I have got. I have never won anything in my life and this will mean the world to me! (Check out picture I have drawn below)

Not one of my pictures is modelling shots as I have never modelled before. People have always told me to try it out and I’ve always wondered…. The closest thing to modelling I have done was when I was randomly asked at the snow fields to have a photo taken for their local newspaper informing people about the new ski lifts.
Not sure weather that counts but that's as close to modelling I have done....... or if you can count all the random family shots with me cut out on my profile ! lol ! jokin !

Now about me… I like stuff, do you like stuff? Getting serious now…....... Do u like stuff? lol
I’m 26 but still get asked for id at my local, I like music, movies, drawing, painting, photography, cooking, football, snowboarding, skateboarding, concerts, motorbikes, surfing, bodyboarding, chillin with mates, hitting the city and even clubs on a weekend and all the other normal stuff that people do.
My family and my crew of mates are most important to me which I am happy with and wouldn’t have it any other way but with that said im always up to meet new people.

I like to challenge myself and go out of my comfort zone.
I'm not afraid to stand up for what i believe in.
I’ll try anything once but with in reason.
I ain't perfect and I’m always bound to change for the better good.
So ill try to sum myself up,

NICE-------------------- probably too much for my own good.

GENUINE------------- person who treats and respects others how I expect to be

DTE--------------------- guy who’s not up myself and gives others the time of day.

DETERMINED----- to change the world for the better good 1 step at a time. (Again, check out the picture i have drawn below, lol)

POSITIVE------------ outlook on things cause nothings worse than negativity.

HAPPY---------------- person who lives to make people smile and laugh.

ENERGETIC--------- who cant sit still and always have to be doing something.

FASHIONABLE--------- person who makes then new trend and lives and breathes fashion.

ANNOYING---------- in a fun 1 of a kind good way, its hard to explain.......like me saying 1000 times, check out the picture i have drawn below, lol.

FUN-------------------- cause I know how to have it and always seem to be the life of the party.

FUNNY--------------- with my odd sense of humour. I’m always up for a laugh / laugh at me, lol.

HONEST------------- because I don’t believe in lying to people, I am a man of my word.

SPONTANEOUS-- cause you’ll never know what ill do / say next, life’s more fun that way.

COLORFUL---------- person who don’t like wearing all black… but each to their own.

UNIQUE------------ one of a kind who don’t follow others and does what makes me happy.

ARTISTIC------------by nature and love everything art.

With all that said ill leave you with a few of my sayings which I go by,

+ to all those without profile pictures or even fake accounts, please stop voting for me because that’s just hindering my chances as I have played this game fair. With integrity and honour from day 1. Some people are that angry and jealous that they have to lower themselves to fake voting people in order to get others kicked off.... what has this world come to ???? As it draws to an end i wont know what to do with myself. If I don't get through :( at least I had fun and picked up some friends along the way.

It’s weird to think for the past month i have been speaking to people from all around the world, realizing there really is not much difference between us all.

We are all human, we are all united, we are Benetton.............. IT'S : OUR : TIME

UPDATE JUNE 2010 :)

When the competition finished, I'm not going to lie but I was devastated that I didn't get the chance of a lifetime to represent Benetton and kick start my career. Considering I made 36th place in the top 100 and had something to offer.
All is good because thanks to Benetton they gave me the push I needed to follow my passion.

So step 1 was to get my portfolio done which can be seen below. To be honest I am surprised how well they came out considering it was my 1st photoshoot + in some I am wearing my Benetton jacket I got with my gift voucher.
Thank you again Benetton.
Now I have a strong portfolio to start my modeling career :)

UPDATE JULY 2010 :)

WOW :0 The last 2 weeks have been HECTIC but wouldn't have it any other way.
As I don't have a agent I uploaded my professional photos / portfolio to Starnow (where I found details for this competition).
Applied to some castings and scored 4 jobs a week ontop of my normal 5 days a week job.

All up.... it has been 1 crazy ride with some funny rememberable experiences but lovin every bit of it :)

UPDATE AUGUST 2010 :)

lol, After the first 2 weeks I was honestly ready to leave my job but on average I get 1 to 2 jobs a week so for now best to keep my full time job ☺
I realized the other day – when I go to castings, nearly all the time I am wearing some form of Benetton clothing that I have got with my gift voucher.

Dressy stripped long sleeved button up shirt
Thank you Benetton once again for helping me with my dream ☺
To a degree I am now living the life I only dreamed of at the start of the year.
Looking back as to where I am now, I really have given 110% and come along way in such a short time.
+ Just done a Xmas Fantastic Furniture Catalogue which I cant believe I got. There is no way I can wait until xmas to see myself in a cataloge for the first time ever. Lol ☺

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2010 :)

Seen myself on the TV for the first time ever in the Victoria Bitter TVC :)
I was shocked / excited and surprised :)
I get a good 10 seconds air time and within a few days everyone was noticing.
+ This week I have a Coke a Cola still shoot casting which hope I get :)
+ a photoshoot for a photographers/my portfolio which can lead to bigger things ☺
+ waiting to hear back for a still shoot casting for Burgen Bread

Looks like I didn't get the coke and bread jobs :( but all is not lost because I have been put forward for a Mitsubishi shoot and a Presenting role :) Fingers crossed XX
Also I just found out that this week I am doing my first ever catwalk for a high end fashion label !!!! I cant wait, I'm so excited :)

Getting ready to shake my little tush on the catwalk, lol. Only hours to go :)

Had a wICked TimE last night. It all feels so surreal. Met some awesome people. Loved the VIP action and felt like a star for the night :) Could get used to this, lol.

UPDATE OCTOBER 2010 :)

OMG, OMG, OMG............
Just scored a casting for Steven Spielberg's new MASSIVE TVseries Terra Nova.
Still in disbelief :)
I have come along way since June :)
Just got back from the casting and didn't do too bad considering I had to learn an American accent in a few days :) fingers crossed I get it :)
It was an honor even being put forward for it considering I haven't had any formal acting training :)

Don't think I got the role in Steven Spielberg's new TV series Terra Nova :( All is not lost because I am now even more determined and loving life right now :)

Its official.... after 11 years I am finally no longer working in Retail (supermarkets). Instead I do promotional work and follow my passion to make my dreams come true :)

Had a fun day today shooting a TV Commercial for Myami Surf and Streetwear.
I was happy to be part of it even tho I didn't get paid (money is not everything to me). I got to meet some great people and lucky me got to keep some clothes and a pair of sunglasses I absolutely love :)
Ontop of that i managed to get the Main Role. Should be a month until I see the final result.
+ thought I'll take a photo of me and some of the cast to show my girlfriend

Just found out I have my 10 year school reunion coming up on November the 6th and it would be a dream come true if I was selected.
Honestly I haven't achieved much over the last 10 years besides a Graphic Design Diploma and being the man I am today.
The last few months I have pushed myself and kept pushing myself within the industry and honestly I actually feel I have finally achieved something :) I want this opportunity from Benetton so so bad and everything the last few months have been perfect timing. This is ment to be + I keep joking and telling my friends and family I am going to London which they are sick of hearing, lol. Would love to shock everyone and make my family proud
